World Currency Collection in envelopes

1960's era collection of world currency bills with descriptions on envelopes.

You are bidding on a 40 year old COLLECTION of world paper currency recently obtained from an estate sale. Each banknote comes in its own windowed envelope. Each envelope is printed with a description about the bill and a brief history about its country of origin. There are 60 envelopes.

Apparently back in the mid-1960s, someone started selling World Paper Money much in the manner like a "Banknote of the Month" club. But, so far, I've not been able to find anymore information about this series of collectibles. Two currency dealers have examined this collection and have confirmed that each bill is genuine and that the collection is at least 40 years old, but neither expert has ever seen these envelopes before, or used in this particular manner. Both experts agreed that the collection has much more value "in total", so that is why no bills will be sold separately.

This auction is for the entire collection of 60 envelopes.
