IMAGE GALLERY FOR MOHAVE COUNTY ARIZONA METEORITE :
Red Dry Lake 025 - RdDL 025 (L5/6 S3 W3 Fa25.7+/-0.3 Fs21.8 Wo0.47 En77.7 )

- - - RED DRY LAKE REVISITED - - -

- - - RED DRY LAKE 025 IS MOST LIKELY PAIRED TO RDDL 024 AND IS UNLIKE THE PREVIOUS 23 METEORITE STONES FOUND AT RED LAKE - - -
- - - IT HAS A VERY FRESH EXTERIOR AND MOST LIKELY FELL VERY RECENTLY - - -
- - - IT WAS THE SECOND STONE OF WHAT WAS TO BECOME SEVERAL DOZEN MORE FINDS FROM AN EXTENSIVE STREWN FIELD. - - -

The fresh-looking fusion-crust on the exterior of this meteorite, suggests that these stones may be part of a relatively recent fall. In fact, since Mike Miller made these original finds, there have been several more dozen finds made of similarly fresh-crusted, small stonys.
Red Dry Lake 025 is the stone on the left.
This is the "25th find" from Red Lake, Mohave County, ARizona.

Any comments would be appreciated. Information regarding the existance of other Red Dry Lake meteorite finds would be very useful in the pursuit of this scientific inquiry. Your help would be very much appreciated.
